About Us

The Abbey Alpaca Farm is located west of the Twin Cities in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

We are dedicated to breeding and raising quality "Huacaya" alpacas. At The Abbey, we pride ourselves in providing the very best quality alpacas to our customers. We constantly strive for excellence in the following areas: overall quality; excellent conformation; uniform color; dense fiber; incredible crimp; and full coverage. 

We are registered members of Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (AOBA) and Alpacas of Minnesota. Our alpacas are also registered with the Alpaca Registry, Inc. (ARI).

In addition to promoting this wonderful animal we sell many alpaca products from raw fiber to yarn to finished scarves, hats, mittens, stuffed animals, sweaters and more.
